Prizes will be awarded at the Dalton show in March or mailed. There are only a few rules so have fun! I will try to keep a running count if I can keep up with Jacque! LOL
First Prize – A beautiful angora bunny donated by Amanda Politino. (bunny of her choosing) The prize bunny will be delivered to the Dalton show in March. If you will not be attending or can not get someone to pick it up for you an alternative prize of Mixed Fiber will be awarded.
Second Prize – 8 oz. of Angora fiber
Third Prize – A very nice slicker brush
We will not have to many rules here. If you are not a current member you still may participate in the contest. All you will be required to do is join first, then start getting members. Please be sure that when you send someone to join that you remind them to mention your name or we can’t give you credit.
There is a place in the cart for a referral name.
Rules – To receive a prize, the minimum of 3 people will have to be referred and join.
Have fun and hope to see everyone at Dalton this year!

We will have an on line show entry form available for the Nationals and the Angora specialty show for your entry convenience. There will be a Mid-South raffle table so please donate any extra things you have laying around. You can send them to Sarah Schumate or Kim Gay. You may also bring them with you to the show with you.

Gone With The Wool 2010
We have a new look here at Mid-South Angora Rabbit Society
The Mid-South Angora Rabbit Society held it’s charter meeting in January 1995. Even though we are a new club all our members have at least one common interest, the ANGORA RABBIT.
The club was established with the commitment to bring to you a quality angora specialty club with all the benefits imaginable.
Our newsletter is informative as well as fun to read. The newsletter contains local show information and results of winnings. There is a classified section in which breeders can list anything they have available for sale, (rabbits and supplies), and a section especially for readers to share their personal knowledge with other breeders. This includes a section for questions and answers. Each newsletter includes a health question directed and answered by a veterinarian and brief, easy to understand articles pertaining to the good health of our angoras.
The purpose of this club is to promote, encourage and improve the development of the Angora Rabbit industry in all of it’s phases and areas. We provide membership to persons interested in breeding, marketing and showing Angora Rabbits as well as pet and fiber producers with support for all products thereof. The club has regular scheduled meetings and an annual specialty show.
Below you will see out Specialty show for March 2009. The first is a slide show of pictures taken by one of our members – Terri Greathouse. She did a great job and we give a big Thank You to her for taking them for us!
This is a short video taken by our President. It was suppose to be a lot longer but the camera messed up. It will give you an idea of the way we show Angora rabbits.
